Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains how Kyperion Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Android apps we publish on Google Play under the developer name Kyperion Studio and on this website. Some apps have their own privacy policy, linked from their Google Play listing; where an app’s own policy is more specific, it applies to that app.
1. Your files stay on your device
Our apps are built offline-first. Photos, videos, audio, documents and other content you open in our apps are processed on your phone and are not uploaded to us. If an app offers an optional online feature that must send content to a server (for example a cloud AI feature), the app tells you before the first use, sends only what that feature needs, and the app’s own privacy policy describes it in detail.
2. Information we collect
- Usage and diagnostics. With your consent where required, we use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. This includes anonymous events (such as “export completed”), device model, Android and app version, approximate region and an app-instance identifier. We do not log file names or the content you create.
- Advertising. Free versions of our apps may show ads served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (such as Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network). These partners may collect the advertising ID, device and usage information to serve and measure ads, under their own privacy policies.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment card details; we only receive the purchase status needed to unlock features.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message to reply and support you.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not require an account to use our apps.
3. Permissions
Our apps ask only for the Android permissions a feature needs (for example the microphone for a recorder, or notifications for a timer), and only when you use that feature. You can revoke permissions at any time in Android Settings.
4. Your choices
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, our apps ask for consent through Google’s consent message (IAB TCF) before personalised ads or analytics are used; if you decline, ads are non-personalised and analytics stays off. In US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising. You can change your choice in the app’s settings (Privacy choices), and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we control, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. Because we keep your content on your device, deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app removes it.
5. Retention
Content stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you.
6. Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. This website
kyperionstudio.com is a static website. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
8. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
